Black Belt testing and Summber Potluck

Black Belt Dan Testing & Summer Potluck on June 24th Join us on June 24th as we once again celebrate those junior and senior IMA students who will be testing for their next level of black belt. We are expecting IMA family from Texas, Utah, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Kansas and of course Colorado. The Dan testing will start at 8:30am and will last until about 3:00pm. Shout out and welcome home to Kamran Madani from Curacao for his fine performance and winning bronze medal in the XXXI senior Pan American Karate championship. The latest Pan American championship had a break recording competitors from over 30 countries in American continent. Kamran who won Canada and Curacao but lost to his opponent from Dominican Republic faced Argentina for his bronze medal match. World Championship

The 23rd World Karate Championship was held on Oct. 26-30, 2016 in Linz, Austria. The competition had the break record number of participants. Over 1100 top competitors from more than 120 countries across the Globe came together to compete in the first world championship after acceptance of karate as Olympic sport for Tokyo 2020. The United States was represented with US team members across the nation who worked hard to represent USA in this prestigious competition.
