Rocky Mountain Gasshuku

The IMA Gasshuku is returning to The Inn at Silver Creek in Granby, Colorado on Sept. 29,30 to Oct. 1, 2017. The Inn at Silver Creek is 110 miles west of Denver International Airport. The approximately two-hour drive from the airport along I-70 and US-40 West takes you into the Rocky Mountains on your way to Granby. Black Belt Testing

The IMA Family offers its sincere congratulations to everyone who successfully earned new black belt designations on June 24th! Over 30 students and instructors endured 8 hours of training and testing this past Saturday as part of their black belt progression. In addition to multiple members of the IMA family earning advanced black belts through many years of dedicated training, one member of our family were also awarded the title of Sensei – making this past weekend one of the most memorable in IMA’s long history. Black Belt testing and Summber Potluck

Black Belt Dan Testing & Summer Potluck on June 24th Join us on June 24th as we once again celebrate those junior and senior IMA students who will be testing for their next level of black belt. We are expecting IMA family from Texas, Utah, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Kansas and of course Colorado. The Dan testing will start at 8:30am and will last until about 3:00pm. Shout-Out to Kamran Madani

Shout out and welcome home to Kamran Madani from Curacao for his fine performance and winning bronze medal in the XXXI senior Pan American Karate championship. The latest Pan American championship had a break recording competitors from over 30 countries in American continent. Kamran who won Canada and Curacao but lost to his opponent from Dominican Republic faced Argentina for his bronze medal match.
