Please join us for the 16th anniversary of the Rocky Mountain International Championship, hosted and sponsored by IMA Karate and sanctioned by USA Karate. The competition will be held on May 6, 2012, at Monarch High School in Louisville, Colorado, USA. The purpose of this championship is to bring together all the traditional Karate styles to the Rocky Mountain area and to provide a professional, well organized, memorable, and friendly environment for all the competitors and instructors. We’d like all of our dojo members to arrive at class safely and on time. To ensure this happens, please be courteous in the parking lot and observe the following guidelines: If you are stopping by the front door to drop off a student, please pull all the way to the right next to the stairs so other cars may pass you on the left. Kamran Madani was featured in the Sunday, November 13th edition of the Denver Post Newspaper as the recipient of a Youth Excellence in Sports award after he won a bronze medal at the World Junior Karate Championships from Oct. 13-16 in Melaka, Malaysia. Youth Excellence in Sports honors those 17 or younger who have excelled in any athletic endeavor unaffiliated with the Colorado High School Activities Association.
